THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Tram Ride Returns to Seaton Tramway, East Devon

Tickets Available from 1st February For a Magical Experience at SEATON TRAMWAY

Seaton Tramway is celebrating the return of THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Tram Ride in East Devon! This immersive family-oriented experience hosted nearly 1.8 million riders at 58 locations in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia in 2025. Popular dates and times are expected to fill quickly, but seats are now available for departures beginning 27th November and continuing through 24th December. Tickets will be on sale from 10am on 1st February, at tram.co.uk/polar, and guests are encouraged to book soon as this beloved Christmas tradition is expected to sell out.

The adventure comes to life when the tram departs for a round-trip journey to the North Pole led by a cast of talented actors. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the classic story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™ for a 2.5 experience to meet Santa. Once on board, hot chocolate and a delicious cookie are served by dancing chefs. Passengers then read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. On arrival at the North Pole, you’ll alight and walk to see Santa and his helpers. After a fun Elf Show, each guest will see Santa, and be given the first gift of Christmas. After the opportunity to enjoy food and shopping, as well as picture moments around the North Pole, it’s time to return home. During the trip, characters on each car lead fantastic onboard entertainment – just like in the film! Each guest will take home a keepsake sleigh bell and souvenir golden ticket in addition to the wonderful memories made on this magical trip. Just like the kids in the book, families are encouraged to wear their pyjamas for the ride!

Tickets go on general sale on Sunday, 1st February at 10 am. With newsletter early access on 31st January at 10 am. There are only a limited number of seats and tickets sell out fast.
