Re-opening FAQS

FROM JULY 19th - Face coverings are recommended to be worn in all indoor spaces and trams.

However, Face coverings will remain mandatory and must be worn in all enclosed trams and compartments. This is includes cars, 14, 15, 16, 19 and in compartments on 2, 9, 10, 11 & 12.

No, however booking online will speed up your arrival and boarding process.

We will allow purchase on arrival. Contactless payments have been increased to £45.

Our staff will be stationed at boarding points to help with boarding.

Due to restrictions in staffing and operational capacities, we may be operating a different timetable than published at the start of 2021. Please check tram.co.uk/timetables. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or curtail tram service without notice.

Hero tickets purchased up to 5th June 2021, can be redeemed ‘one for one’ for an All-Day Explorer Ticket, during operating until 31st December 2021.

Government Guideline updated 22nd February allows Tourism attractions to re-open 12th April as long as they are ‘Covid Secure’. We have undertaken appropriate action to ensure increased health & safety procedures including a comprehensive risk assessment and staff training. We’re also awarded the Visit England ‘We’re Good To Go’ kitemark.

Yes, Claude’s Café (Seaton) and Tramstop Café (Colyton) will be serving their full menus.
Takeaways have a dedicated pick up point at Tramstop Cafe
Takeaways will be served using compostable packaging.

Outdoor seating will be available at Colyton Station.

Dogs will still be allowed on board, however they must travel on lower decks.

We will still be operating our accessible trams, please note there may be wait times at busy periods as will only be able to allow one wheelchair per tram 9, 10 & 11 

A limited number of events and experiences will go ahead on reopening. Summer events are due to go ahead as planned. Subject to Government Roadmap.
