HGV causes disruption at Seaton Tramway.

Incident Update.

Due to the continuing repairs after the incident today with the driver of an HGV taking down the overhead power lines at Colyford Level Crossing, we will unfortunately not be able to open on Friday 13th April.
Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused to our passengers and we hope to be open for business on Saturday 14th April at 10am

Shortly before midday today an over height HGV loaded with a digger, caused damage to the overhead power cables on the Colyford crossing, located on the A3052 creating severe disruption to Seaton Tramway. No one was injured In the incident.

As a result of the damage by the HGV, the tramway has had to suspend its service. All passengers are being taken by coach to their respective starting points.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to any of our passengers and hope to be up running again as soon as the damage can be repaired by our engineering team.
