Welcome to the current home of Seaton's brand new Soft Play and Cafe, Jurassic Discovery.

Seaton Tramway is delighted to announce that Jurassic Discovery is now fully open, bringing a brand-new Soft Play, Café, and exciting outdoor activities to Seaton since 2024.

Following successful talks with East Devon District Council, who own the premises, the Tramway took over the building previously known as Seaton Jurassic, transforming it into a fun, educational, and family-friendly destination right in the heart of the town.

Inside, our Soft Play is the perfect place for children to burn off energy while parents relax in our indoor Café, serving fresh teas, coffees, and tasty snacks. Outside, visitors can now explore the Jurassic Garden, featuring our brand-new Dino Dig fossil excavation area – where budding palaeontologists can grab a brush, uncover fossils, and learn about Seaton’s place on the Jurassic Coast.

The soft play area, previously owned and operated by Pecorama, has found its new home here in Seaton, building on its past popularity with locals and visitors alike.

Jurassic Discovery has also created seven new jobs for the local area, supporting both the Café and Soft Play.
