Work at the new Jurassic Discovery Attraction in East Devon

Set to open in the Spring of 2024, Jurassic Discovery will initially welcome visitors with a family-friendly café and a soft play area. By the Summer of 2024, the centre will unveil an immersive dinosaur exhibition, featuring state-of-the-art animatronic exhibits from the Natural History Museum.

Seaton Tramway are looking to recruit a Centre Manager and a Cafe and Soft Play Supervisor for this exciting new attraction.

Jurassic Discovery Manager

Employed by Seaton Tramway Enterprises Ltd, the Jurassic Discovery Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of Jurassic Discovery.  The role includes the management of all staff and volunteers as well as being responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all customers and staff within the Centre.

The successful candidate will be a well-organised and forward-thinking individual, be able to stick to strict budgets, proactively strive to achieve targets and be able to demonstrate the highest level of customer service and interpersonal skills.  

Previous experience within Management of a tourism, educational or catering establishment preferred.

This is a permanent full-time position.  The successful applicant will require a DBS check.

Cafe and Soft Play Supervisor

Employed by Seaton Tramway Enterprises Ltd, the Jurassic Discovery Café and Soft Play Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Jurassic Discovery Soft Play and Café.  This includes the preparation and serving of food and drink, the supervision of all staff and volunteers and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the Soft Play and Café.

The Cafe and Soft Play Supervisor will be the Safeguarding lead for Jurassic Discovery Centre and act as a deputy for the Jurassic Discovery Manager in their absence.  

Previous experience within catering essential.
