Moomin Summer Adventure Event – A great success at Seaton Tramway!

Seaton Tramway’s Moomin Summer Adventure has been a huge success this August, welcoming families from across the country for a magical summer filled with Moomins, storytelling, puppetry, tram rides and plenty of Finnish-inspired fun.
The popular event, which brought the much-loved world of the Moomins to life at Seaton Tramway, has proved to be a firm favourite with visitors of all ages, far and wide, creating unforgettable memories for families this summer.
Guests began their adventure aboard a beautifully decorated tram, where they were welcomed by ‘The Narrator’ and told fascinating stories and facts about everything Moomin, while the journey took them through the beautiful Axe Valley. The experience continued with a charming live puppet show at Colyton Station, bringing the enchanting world of Moominvalley to life for children and adults.
Visitors were also treated to delicious refreshments, including fresh homemade scones and wonderfully flavoured bubble tea, while children had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of Moomin-inspired activities, like making their very own puppet shows, colouring and a Moomin quiz with a gem prize!
Guests got to take home an exclusive Summer Adventure goody bag packed with Moomin colouring, character pens, bookmarks and treats for all to enjoy at the end of their visit!

We went to the Moomin Summer Adventure today and it was exceptional! It started with a beautiful tram ride, where a really wonderful host (Tony, I think) told us all about the Moomins. He was great - really charming and funny and lovely with all the children. Then we stopped and watched a puppet show - it was superb! The puppeteers were brilliant, and the show was enchanting. Then we had delicious scones and bubble tea while the kids made puppets, coloured and did a quiz. Tony and the puppeteers ran this and were so lovely- they helped my son cut out a Little My. We even got lovely gift bags to take away. I cannot recommend enough. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make it a magical experience. The tram drivers and cafe staff were lovely too!”

The event has received an overwhelmingly positive response from visitors, with families praising the atmosphere, entertainment, props and the friendly and welcoming actors at Seaton Tramway.
